BOOKING TERMS, CONDITIONS AND POLICIES OF STAY
Waterford on Main Beach – Booking Terms, Conditions & Policies of Stay
General Booking Policies (NOT including special events bookings or those made over the Christmas/New Year period):
· A one night deposit is payable on booking to secure the reservation and the balance is payable on arrival.
· A valid credit card must be provided on booking to process the deposit and this cardholder must be present at check in to verify the cardholder identity and to present the card used.
· There are no credit card fees and credit cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard and Union Pay. We do NOT
accept Amex.
· Cash cannot be used to pay for the booking.
· A security deposit of a minimum of $200.00 is charged upon check in. This can be paid via Visa, Mastercard or Union pay as a
pre-authorisation and is refundable after check out, subject to the apartment being left in a clean, tidy and undamaged condition.
General cancellation/amendment policies (NOT including special events bookings or those made over the Christmas/New Year period):
· The guest can cancel booking more than 14 days before arrival and any payment of deposit or full payment made is refundable (as long as the booking is not a non-refundable booking).
· If the guest cancels within 14 days before arrival then any deposit made is forfeited.
· In the case of a no show, the total cost of stay will be charged.
· Booking amendments can be made free of charge more than 14 days before arrival.
· Booking amendments made within 14 days of the original booking arrival date and which are either to postpone arrival to a later date, or to shorten the length of stay, will incur a penalty fee equivalent to one night cost.
Christmas/New Year Holiday Terms & Conditions:
· Applicable to stays between the 21st December 2026 and the 4th January 2027.
· The guest can cancel or amend their booking dates free of charge up to 60 days prior to their arrival.
· The guest will be charged 50% of the total booking cost if they cancel within 60 days of arrival.
· No booking date amendments can be made within 60 days of arrival.
· In the case of a no show, the total cost of the stay will be charged to the guest.
Policies of Stay:
- On check in the person who made the booking and whose credit card was provided, will be required to be present and will be required to show the credit card through which the deposit was taken and their photo ID for identification purposes.
- The guest acknowledges that Waterford Management may require a security deposit by credit card, prior to check in. No cash security deposits will be accepted.
- The By-Laws, rules and regulations of the complex, and any reasonable direction or the Management, must be complied with.
- This building has a no smoking/no vaping policy in place for within all holiday letting apartments (including balconies) and all communal areas on the property which include the outdoor areas, driveway and gardens. Should a room be deemed unusable after you have vacated due to smoking, you will be liable for any lost revenue incurred (A charge of one room night at sellable rate for each night the room is unusable). If you are caught smoking on the premises then a fine of $100.00 will apply.
- There is to be no more than the booked number of guests in the apartment.
- No alcohol is to be consumed in the indoor and outdoor common areas of the building, apart from the BBQ area.
- Waterford has a strict NO PARTY Policy and noise is to be kept to a minimum. Management reserves the right to evict guests who cause a nuisance.
- Management reserves the right to refuse bookings which they assess as likely to lead to a breach of the No Parties Policy.
- If you make a booking, and on arrival we find you are a party group which has not made prior arrangements with us, you may be turned away and you will be liable for the full amount for your booking.
- If you hold a party during your stay which interferes with the comfort and safety of other people on the premises, the police will be called and will remove you from the building and you will be liable for the full amount for your booking.
- We do not cater for Schoolies or school leaver bookings whether attending the official celebrations or not.
- Guests arriving in the Schoolies period must all be present at check in and their identification is to be verified and if any are found to be school leavers they will be refused entry and will forfeit the entire cost of their stay.
- The property does not have any policies, procedures, or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual “Schoolies Weeks”. It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period.
- Management reserves the right to evict any guest who is intoxicated or who causes, or is likely to cause, damage to the building, the apartment or another person.
- There is no refund for early departure for any reason, including eviction.
- The guest authorises Waterford on Main Beach Management to charge any credit card for any damage to the apartment or common property and/or for any loss or damage to the contents of the apartment or the common property.
- The guest authorizes Waterford on Main Beach Management to charge any credit card for pay per view movies downloaded during the stay.
- The guest agrees to leave the apartment in a clean condition and to remove all rubbish prior to departure. Extra cleaning charges will apply to apartments left in an unreasonable condition.
- In the event of extreme circumstances rendering an apartment unusable or unavailable Waterford Management reserves the right cancel the booking. All attempts will be made to relocate the guests to other apartments within the building and all deposits will be refunded.
